CQM provides customized in-company training in mathematical optimization, process improvement and statistics, including topics such as Data Science and Advanced Analytics. Whatever your challenge, we make sure our training is closely aligned with your day-to-day working environment. Our trainers also work as consultants themselves, enabling them to directly connect theory to real-world practice.

A typical CQM training course includes:

Customized training

Customization goes beyond learning objectives, choice of topics, level of depth, language and software. Our aim is to create real impact within your organization. That is why we do not offer open-enrollment training courses, but work exclusively with small, dedicated groups of participants from within your organization.

A group of around 12 participants allows the trainer to maintain a high level of interaction with everyone. The maximum number of participants per training course is sixteen.

Your day-to-day working environment

The examples and exercises we use during the training are taken from your own working environment. This means the training goes beyond theory: you experience directly how the methods and techniques can be applied in your daily work.

Real-world challenges

We address the typical questions and challenges that arise in relevant projects. The focus is on understanding how and when to use the tools and techniques covered in the training to arrive at well-founded answers. We illustrate the theory with practical examples, exercises and experiences from CQM projects.

Coaching and on-the-job training

In addition to the group training sessions, participants receive individual coaching while applying their newly acquired knowledge directly to their own projects. This creates immediate value for the organization.

Together with you, the trainer takes a closer look at your project, the steps required and the appropriate application of the tools and techniques.

After-training service

All participants who attend more than 80% of the training receive unlimited access to our after-training service. This means they can continue to contact their trainer with short, training-related questions – even after the training has ended.

Games

Our training courses are not only educational, but enjoyable too. We regularly incorporate game elements into our programs. CQM games are highly appreciated by participants and turn complex concepts into engaging learning experiences.

Who is it for?

Naturally, we tailor each training course to its target audience. In general, CQM training courses are designed for professionals with a higher professional or academic level of education and thinking.

Training materials and certification

All training courses are supported by a training manual containing presentation slides and exercises. After completing the training, each participant also receives access via the CQM website to an online database containing relevant documents and templates for that specific course.

If you do not have enough computers available for participants to complete exercises during the training, CQM can provide training laptops. Where applicable, CQM can also provide temporary licenses for the software required during the training.

Certification is optional. Participants who have attended more than 80% of the training and successfully completed a practical assessment can receive a certificate. This assessment consists of either completing a take-home case or reporting on how they have applied what they learned within their own working environment.

"CQM has developed two statistics training courses with ASML, at basic and advanced level. What makes these courses unique is that participants immediately apply the statistical techniques presented during the training within an ASML context. All exercises are based on real-world use cases."

"The Tolerance Design Training and the Tolerance Design tool is embraced by the Philips Oral Healthcare development team in Bothell (US). The training integrates the application of Tolerance Analysis seamlessly in the Product development process. The Tool helps to standardize the analysis per development phase, which brings focus to the quality of work. This benefit is recognized by the development teams and functional management."

"To quote some of the participants:
- As I had taken statistics in college, it was nice to get a refresher and have some real use of it via the excel add-ins. Most statistics work that I have done has mainly been theoretical so it was nice to be able to produce graphs and focus on analyzing them. The excel add- in CQM_EfP is great and I think will be very useful for a lot of the work that will need to be done in the future.
- I would like to request more training like this with CQM. Statistics are becoming more of a crucial role in R&D. A more robust understanding of statistics is needed in order to communicate data and results with others.
- Instructor was great. Used the correct learning tools to get the information across to the students.  (...) it was a nice training and I learned a lot."
