Being a data scientist and mathematician, I get excited about decoding and understanding complex challenges that require an analytical approach. Connecting the worlds of the customer’s practice and mathematical models is what drives me in my daily job as a consultant. I enjoy translating quantitative insights from the domain of data, algorithms and optimization into a clear, understood solution that offers true added value in the reality of the customer.
My background is in applied mathematics, having a PhD degree on the topic of large-scale queue systems. My expertise and interest therefore lie within the analysis and optimization of processes in which uncertainty and stochasticity play a role. This includes warehousing, supply chain optimization, simulation, and many other topics on the intersection of data science and logistics.
