Since childhood, I have loved being challenged by puzzles and complicated problems. This interest has turned into a passion for mathematics, which I share with my CQM colleagues every day. My interest lies in optimizing processes where uncertainty plays a major role. When information is limited, how can you still make the best possible decision?
I find it interesting to work with a customer to translate such a complex issue from business into a suitable mathematical model. Even more beautiful is to see how the solution, which first existed only on paper or in a piece of code, then has a real impact on the world. At CQM everything comes together for me: clever puzzling on difficult problems, close cooperation with diverse companies and being able to really make a difference!
